What was announced
On 20 October 2026, EUROCONTROL announced the delivery of iNM Wave 2.5.1. The release expands digital services to aeronautical information publication (AIP) production through the eEAD ecosystem, as part of a gradual transition from the existing EAD platform.
EUROCONTROL reports that more than 60 States provide aeronautical information to eEAD and over 200 organisations use it for charts, AIPs, NOTAMs and other information. These are professional adoption figures, not live-airport coverage claims by Cematlas.
Why AIPs and NOTAMs matter
Aeronautical Information Publications (AIPs) describe published operational information such as aerodromes and procedures. NOTAMs draw professional attention to operational changes. Neither is a live passenger departure board or an assurance of punctual flights.
The official iNM release notes explain the digital document library, data sets and chart-production capabilities. The transition remains gradual.
What travellers should do
For the status of a particular flight, consult the operating airline and airport directly. Changes to professional aeronautical data systems do not establish when a passenger's flight will depart or whether a disruption is resolved.
Use Cematlas airport listings to find airport locations and useful starting points. Cematlas does not replace official operational notices.
