Privacy policy

Personal data and your choices

Your browser locally stores language choices and, outside the Google CMP flow, consent preferences. No visitor account is needed and place searches run in the browser. Cloudflare Workers, the intended host, receives IP addresses and technical connection data needed to deliver and secure this site. The existence and retention of any logs depends on actual Cloudflare account settings and is not yet verified. Cloudflare is based in the US and operates an international network; see its privacy policy and applicable transfer safeguards.

Audience measurement

Optional Google Analytics will only load if configured and explicitly accepted.

Advertising

Advertising is inactive until the site is approved and a certified consent solution is active.

Interactive maps

OpenStreetMap tiles load automatically when you open a place page. Your browser sends your IP address, site referrer and technical metadata directly to the map provider. Data may be processed outside the EU. Refer to the provider privacy policy for your rights, retention and international transfers.

Community: posts, moderation and retention

Community posts include public nickname, text, city and date. They remain private pending manual approval and are hosted on Cloudflare D1. An IP-derived salted hash limits spam; the database does not store the raw IP. Rate-limit hashes are erased after 14 days and unreviewed pending posts after 90 days. Published posts remain until removal, deletion request or service closure. Contact the publisher to report content or exercise your data rights. Never post sensitive or personal contact details. When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile performs an anti-bot verification when submitting a message and connects to Cloudflare.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (CNIL in France).
